Community Structure

Community Structure

A Place, Not Just a Platform

Ascension is a community first. The bots, the tokens, the architecture — all of it serves the people who show up, learn together, and build something meaningful. Discord is where the realm lives, and its structure reflects our values: clarity without rigidity, roles without gatekeeping, culture without pretension.

You can lurk. You can dive deep. You can trade both realms or pick one. The community meets you where you are.

Role Structure

Roles in Ascension serve two purposes: organizational clarity (who does what) and recognition (who has contributed). They're not status symbols — they're functional labels that help the community operate.

Project Leadership

The Founder Lord Chancellor of the Realm The project's creator and steward. Holds protective authority (veto over malfeasance, infrastructure management) but not day-to-day control. The DAO governs; the Lord Chancellor safeguards.

The Mages Technical Council The builders and maintainers — those who develop and operate the trading bots, AI personas, and technical infrastructure. They make the realm work.

Active Participants

Citizens of the Realm General Membership Full members of the community who engage, participate, and contribute. Citizens have access to all public channels and the ability to participate in community discussions.

Visitors

Sojourners Visiting Friends Those exploring the realm, not yet sure if they wish to stay. Sojourners are welcome to observe, ask questions, and find their footing. Some will settle; some will move on. Both are fine.

Guild Sigils

Beyond formal roles, members can adorn their coat of arms with Guild Sigils — heraldic emblems that display areas of interest and expertise.

These aren't ranks or responsibilities. They're patches on your cloak, symbols on your crest — a way for others to identify kindred spirits at a glance. Trading-focused guilds (Wall Street, DeFi, Crypto Markets, Options & Futures), infrastructure guilds (Mining, Staking, Farming), creative guilds (Artists, Musicians, Jesters), and more.

Select as many or as few as reflect who you are. The sigils help the community find common ground.

Recognition Roles

Beyond structural roles, Ascension recognizes exceptional contribution:

Ascension Tactician Strategy Specialists Members who demonstrate exceptional ability in creating and executing trading strategies. This isn't a leadership role — it's acknowledgment of skilled practice. Tacticians understand market mechanics deeply, contribute to strategy discussions meaningfully, and help sharpen the community's collective edge.

Future Roles

As Ascension evolves, new roles will emerge tied to the realm's token economy and automation infrastructure:

Sigil Bearers Holders of the Realm's Token Those who hold the Sovereign — the token that represents stake in the realm. Sigil Bearers have committed to the project's long-term success and will participate in governance as the community matures.

Automation Aristocracy Commanders of the Bot Fleet Those who rent and operate Ascension trading bots — members who have moved beyond observation to active deployment of automated systems. The Automation Aristocracy commands their own slice of the fleet, running bots configured to their risk tolerance while the system handles execution.

Trading Both Realms

Members naturally gravitate toward their preferred focus. Some live entirely in crypto, rarely glancing at TradFi channels. Some prefer the measured pace of traditional markets.

And some trade both — fluent in ancient discipline and frontier innovation alike. These members understand that the best insights often come from cross-pollination. A pattern in equities might telegraph what's coming in crypto. A DeFi mechanism might inspire a new approach to portfolio construction.

The community doesn't force a choice. Find your lane, or walk them all.

The Culture

A few principles define how Ascension operates:

Learn out loud. Ask questions. Share mistakes. Talk through your thinking. The community gets smarter when people aren't afraid to be wrong in public.

Respect the journey. Everyone started somewhere. The Sage answering your basic question once asked basic questions. The Tactician with sharp insights once blew up an account learning what not to do.

Automation serves life. We're not here to become better chart-watchers. We're here to build systems that free us from charts. If someone's been away for a month living their life, that's success — not absence.

Two realms, one community. The banter between TradFi traditionalists and crypto natives is part of the fun. But underneath it, everyone's working toward the same goal: sustainable, systematic trading that compounds over time.
